NICU nurse Adrianna sees direct impact of her donations

Quick facts:

  • NICU Nurse that sees the impact of Prolacta’s products firsthand
  • Going to school to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • Second time donor

“My husband and I have 3 beautiful kiddos, Grayson, 6, Alliyah, 2 and Hallie, 9 months. I'm a level III NICU nurse, currently pursuing my master's degree to be a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy decorating cookies and like to stay busy. I thrive off chaos! I'm on my second donation journey with Tiny Treasures.

I care for itty bitty babies in a NICU that offers Prolacta products, which is how I found out about donation. After Alliyah was born and my milk supply had been established, I applied for donation and was grateful that my excess milk could be used to help the most fragile human population.

As a NICU nurse, I get to see the big impact that Prolacta products have on the tiniest human beings, and it's truly amazing! Protecting extremely premature infants from diseases, such as necrotizing enterocolitis, is so important.

Donating has made it easier to keep my supply up and continue to breastfeed my babies. I breastfed Grayson and Alliyah for 13 months or more and hope to make it even longer this time! My goal is to pump until Hallie is 2. The compensation from donation provides peace of mind financially so that I'm able to provide and care for my family while working on my master's degree.”
