Adapta-cap bottle adapter phase out

Prolacta will phase out the inclusion of the Adapta-Cap Bottle Adapter with shipments of PremieLact® Human Milk for Trophic Feeds.

With this change, please be assured that the product itself has not changed – Prolacta continues to offer PremieLact donor milk that meets the needs of the smallest premature infants who benefit from an exclusive human milk diet, with all the same benefits as before:

• May be used as a trophic feed to "prime the gut" for larger enteral feeds without wasting large amounts of donor milk
• The only donor human milk formulated to a minimum of 20 Cal/fl oz
• The only donor human milk that provides an average of 1.1 g protein/100mL1
• Labeled in accordance with FDA food labeling requirements
• Two-year shelf life supported by real-time stability studies1
• Can be administered up to 48 hours after the thawing process begins1
