How to Pack a Donor Cooler in 10 Steps

Place 2 ice packs at the bottom of the cooler.

Set the clear bag on top of the bottom 2 ice packs.

Pack your 1st layer of frozen breastmilk.

Add the 2nd layer on top on the 1st layer.

Pack an additional 2-3 layers of bags, flat on top.

Place the completed paperwork into the cooler.

Press out as much air as possible and zip-tie the bag closed.

Place 2 ice packs on top and outside of the zip-tied bag.

Tape the box closed and attach the FedEx label.

Call FedEx Express and you’re done!
