Providers and family advocates tours the state-of-the-art human milk processing facility

On Saturday, April 25, members from the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation (CPBF) and neonatologists, Dr. Elliott and Dr. Hall, visited Prolacta® for a jam packed event. The educational day included a clinical overview, quality and safety presentation, and facility tour. Katharina Stuab, the President of CPBF, recounts that the clinical data coupled with a walk through of the manufacturing process illustrated Prolacta's "passion [for] babies, the team ensures safety through vigorous testing of human breastmilk a variety of ways." Katharina further shares, "Many parents already know that nature has it right...[and] an exclusive human breastmilk diet is the best nutrition for babies [because] research consistently shows that an exclusive human breastmilk diet is particularly crucial for premature babies for the prevention of serious illnesses such as Necrotizing Enterocolitis.” Lisa Christie Torreggiani, Director of CPBF said, "Thank you so very much for hosting us.  It was lovely, moving, educational and fun! "
