Going back to work after having a baby can be hard on the heartstrings. For many moms, continuing to breastfeed is a way to stay connected to their little one, even though they’re apart for hours every day.

Nursing camisoles not only open up for easy access, but they also raise the neckline for modesty, if you are wearing e a low-cut shirt or dress.
Dresses aren’t always a great option unless they are made for nursing. You may find yourself with the dress up and scrunched at your shoulders, or pulled down, exposing your body from the waist up.
Generally a two-piece outfit such as a skirt or pants, and a nursing top, works best. You can easily pull the top up from the waist. If you pair your outfit with a cardigan, jacket, or button-down sweater, you can pump discreetly, and cover up any milk stains on your top or blouse.
Don’t forget the nursing pads! They will help prevent embarrassing leaks.
Wear prints or have a scarf in a neutral color on hand just in case you spring a leak, and don’t have either nursing pads or another outfit on hand. Nursing scarves and covers are also great for nursing moms who prefer extra modesty.
Don’t spend too much on clothing. Search for double duty items like nursing bras and tops you can start wearing before baby is born.
Keep a towel or burp cloth nearby to protect your pants or skirt while pumping. When you’re done, wrap your supplies in it so nothing drips around the office. Even in a perfect world pumping at work isn’t easy. It takes time, dedication, and drive to pump regularly, but wearing the right work wardrobe can make a world of a difference.
